I'm having no problems taking 3-game series form the better teams in the NL, but I can't beat the bad teams. If my boys would step up when facing the bottom 4 teams in the NL, I'd actually be in the friggin' race! This is so frustrating. Last season, I couldn't beat Cincy or Philly, thus why I wound up in 3rd behind them. Now, I'm beating them this season, but I can't beat Pitt, NYN, and Milwaukee! The only top team in the NL I've had problems with this year has been StL.April 13, 2008 at 07:02PM View formatted

I know the feeling. STL was in 1st place today and got swept by a sub .500 PIT team.April 17, 2008 at 02:09AM View BBCode

my closer was lights out the first 70 games and can't save a game anymore. frustration indeed.April 17, 2008 at 05:38PM View BBCode
Well, he's 1 for 2 today... blew the first game against me... giving me hope of maybe pulling with 3 games. Then he performed well in the second game. Total opposites. My setup man gets the win in the first game with a strong performance... and your closer blows the game. Second game, my setup man blows the game, and your closer ends it.April 21, 2008 at 09:53PM View BBCode
And yet another sweep by a team that we should be very even with. Shitty indeedPages: 1
