2nd quarter, first down at the 1 yardline, AFE gives the ball to one of my LBs. Why did LB Sendlein get the ball? I use two different HBs for rushing so how could both of them be too tired to run there? Why wouldn't AFE use the FB? Your RBs all have enough red on their energy bars to be subbed out at between 75% & 80%, I'd guess. Sendlein is listed as a FB for that play. What does your FB depth chart show for your formation for that play? I would guess Sendlein is listed as the 2nd FB.

One of your RB's is in at TE because your TE's are in at WR... I need to look at your depth charts and the game log to sort this one out.Chris

So the players from the specific formation chart are filled in, then those from the general specific position charts, then those from the genaral parent position charts, leaving holes at TE and RB. For the I Formation, TE is filled before RB, so Iacavazzi, being the best available TE (since all the TE's are in at WR and Iacavazzi has a better TE rating than the WR's) goes in at TE, leaving a hole at FB to be filled by the next available player, an LB.
I think it should have picked one of the WR's for the TE slot over the RB; the decision for that substitution may be weighed too heavily toward pass blocking. I'll check it out.

For that formation all of your TE's are set to play at WR. The actual starting TE, Hunt, was subbed out.
