The beta area is a place where we can test new features and catch problems before moving the changes to the rest of the site.
At different times, we may run an entire season without much warning if there is something I need to test. Or a problem may cause games not to run or some other problem which may not be corrected right away (or ever). It's important to remember that this league is here so we can test things.
The URL for the beta site is http://beta.simdynasty.com/ This is a unique site from www.simdynasty.com, so the usernames are separate.
Anyone can see the beta site by logging in as betauser/betauser and control the Cincinnati franchise.
If you are interested in becoming a permanent beta tester, start out by managing the betauser team. If you see teams that haven't been checked in a while, create a username on the beta site and send Admin a u2u and we'll consider your request.
If you find problems, please post them in Beta Issues & Suggestions. Do not post them in Report Problems, as this can confuse us and other users.
At times, we may replace other beta owners for being inactive on the beta boards. Ideal beta testers are detail oriented individuals who can help us find bugs.
