What do you need to get a C+ SP mentor score?

I have a young Pitching Staff, but I drafted a Cuban A- SP that has A leadership. He just turned 30 and I still have him in the minors because he was a B- mentor score. When he turned 30 he jumped to a B+ mentor score. Is 1 B+ mentor score enough to get to C+? I have an OS35 guy that is an A+ but he is not that great. I figured this dude would at least be a competitive 4th or 5th starter. Bit I don't want to call him up as everyone I have up at 23 and 24 are out of options, so I have no one to send down that won't be picked up. (Jackson can but I want to pitch him)

I should be good enough next year to be annoying, maybe I can sneak into the playoffs with a lot of luck. Just curious what the lowest you needed to get to C+ mentor score.

Is Aguila enough?

I don't believe it will be enough. I think it will need to be at least A-, but I'm not positive.

I would find someone on the waiver wire with B+ mentor score and check. Then just release him.

I saw a team in my one dynasty league that has a B+ guy and he scored a C+ but I guess it also depends on where in the range of B+ Aguila is in.

I guess the only way I am really going to find out is if Aguila is called up.

You could just move one of your bullpen mentors into the rotation. Not ideal for developing your SP, but if you're not intending to contend this season that would solve your issue. You can just rotate among your SPs as to which one goes to the bullpen.
